HID retrofit
i have a 1999 lexus rx300 awd. i am getting an HID retrofit done within the next two weeks. up until now i've heard the TSX projectors are very nice. however, recently i've heard that there's some competition. are the lexus LS400 projectors just as good, better, or worse? what are the best out there? lexus? bmw? mercedes? acura? if anyone has any info i'd b glad to hear it!!!! thanks :-)

as far as i know, projectors off audis are pretty popular too. when i sold my old one, i sold all ofmy extra headlights to people that didnt have and audi. another popular one is the projectors off of a f50 q45....

ls430-highest output best in width
s2000- very good output, best stock cutoff (sharpest/and most colorful), a little messing with it and you can have an even morecolorful cutoff
TSX-for the money best value, a lot of potential, and very close to s2000 in terms of output, yet a good $100 cheaper
Q45-coolest looking, but output isnt comparable to ls430 and s2000, tsx has better output
there is a lot more, those are just a few
some audi's have good projectors (valeo) especially the RS6 but for the most part the above are the most popular/sought after.
now almost any projector can be made to have decent output, but its takes a lot of modification, and also new lenses have to be swapped. but the lenses have to be almost the exact dimensions as the ones you are replacing in order to have good output.
there is alot more out there, and to tell you the truth any HID projector is a step up from reflectors.
