You have to remove your stock air box, Open up the latches and there three screws at the bottom.

I used to have the Weapon-R dragon intake (did not like it), but kept the aluminum pipe to use to put my maf in.

I found this example from http://www.cardomain.com/ride/347565 and this is of the similar dragon intake. However, I like the design concept of the Secret Intake, which is different than the dragon intake (which is nothing more than a tube with a filter on it it, but the secret intake is a double tube for different air velocities...a concept that I use in a different fashion on my current air modification.

With regard to that truck, I wonder if you were facing off against an older F-250.

RX has a large drag, underpowered engine and lot of weight. They are not the worst in speed but quite a few vehicles will beat RX in speed.

Any thing that you do will margianlly improve the timing may be close to 1 sec at the most. Driving techniques can potentially detract by the same amount. [Typical drivers (including me) do not get to the published number].

If you want to have a fast vehicle, tinkering with RX wont even get you half way. Speed demons start with stock cars close to 6sec and then tinker with it. Then there is enthusiasts with deep pockets with real sports cars.

This is so true. Could not have have stated it better.

When the RX300 came out in 98 in the Western Hemisphere, it was pretty good for its time for hp. However, times have definitely changed. I think that 1 second figure is about right. I have tried to do some calculations on my own from my best stock time of 19.2 (down to a 17.931 best time) and perhaps could push that a little more with lighter rims and some other goodies before the mother-of-all-forced-induction goes in. I weight 210 lbs (yes there is some muscle there), so I could trim a little more, too.
