We just had the rear main replaced in our 2000 RX300 AWD at the Lexus dealer. The dealer repaired the problem under warranty.

 

As promised, here are some pictures when I changed oil to complete the rinse phase of Auto-RX treatment cycle. I found finer sludge grids in oil and trapped in filter element, suggesting Auto-RX is taking off deposit layer by layer very slowly.
I am starting the second cycle today, leak is slowed but not 100% gone after 1 cycle of Auto-RX, engine oil was dripping off 3446 miles ago before I started the current treatment.

Here is a picture what the leak looks like now. Notice the oily boot and pulley.

About 3500 miles for another cycle and we will see how the leak go.
