Default How Much Should I Ask For My Car?

I'll sell my car soon, and I don't know how much should I ask for it, here're some information..

Model: RX 300
Year: 2000
Mileage: 125000
Drive train: 2WD
Condition: Excellent

More info:

I'm the 2nd owner of the car.
It doesn't have any problems.
Just changed the transmission, with a life time warranty.
Made the full 100000 maintenance at the dealer shop, and changed the timing belt.
New tires (Under warranty).
Clean body, except from very small scratches at the bumper.

Thanks!

Each market is different. Best thing to do is see what others are going for in your area then go from there. Condition and records that indicate maintenance was done help too.

Either way, a car with 125K miles will mean that your market is smaller and most limited to people that pay cash for things. Don't expect the cost of the tranmission to make a huge difference either.

I looked around and most 2001's are going for around 13K private party with less mileage. Forget the $15K dealer price. They are nuts.

My advice, and I have sold a bunch of cars, it ask too much. Never hurt anyone. Ask too little and it hurts every time!

with that milage and no AWD 12k sounds good to me too.

Do you have the full service history, that always helps.
