You can also purchase a Service Manual on a CD on eBay. Much less convenient to use, but much cheaper. I purchased Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 shortly after I purchased my car, and I agree with Salimshah that you could easily do without Vol. 1. I think the only things I learned from Vol. 1 were the torque specs and the jack points. I've learned a lot more from some of the tutorials on Club Lexus and this forum, but sometimes I consult Vol. 2.
I purchased one of the CD's on eBay, but found it difficult to use (not indexed well, if at all).
I took a look at this manual you listed for download and it doesn't appear to be the same as the Lexus manual I have. Either way I 100% agree with the copyright issues.
