Anyone know how the older spoiler on the RX is held to the vehicle?
I've determined that the rear spoiler is the culprit of some unwanted whistling noise and wanted removed and do without it altogether or replace it with the newer spoiler.
I'm concerned that I'll have exposed drill holes, but was hoping the newer spoiler would either use the same holes or cover up the existing ones.
Mucho thanks!

Sorry Man....
Old Spoiler mounts on the top, "New" spoiler mounts on the sides....
I bought my '99 without a spoiler, and ordered a "new" style spoiler for it(2001), but I didn't look in the box before they(dealer) drilled the holes, so much to my dismay I got a '99 style spoiler on my '99.
Unfortunately the spoilers mount completely different, and to make it better would have involved welding, and more drilling and painting on the rear hatch.
So I had a little chat with my Lexus Dealer about their problem, and ended up getting the '99 style spoiler painted, and installed for free.....
And who says a little b#tching doesn't get the job done....could have been worse they could have installed a Celica wing on it.....
