Alright! Muffler is on guys, I took it to a shop this morning and they did a great job in about 20 minutes, they did not reuse the stock hangers and decided to just make their own, which worked out well. The pics are here.
The only thing replaced was the stock muffler part, so resonator, cat and stock exhaust system is untouched. I wish I had a digital camcorder, I would get a sound byte for you guys. It's deep and throaty when accelerating and up the RPM band get's matched with the engine noise, so it's not getting really louder because of the straight through flow. I can feel a slight pickup, but I'm not sure if it's the placebo or not, haha.

Nice looking tip, just be real slow at a steep driveway after you lowered the car.
I think removing the towing hook will make the side view better, let the stainless steel shine!

Ah...you mean that fartcan, bazooka-like exhaust. I get a few Civics (and other vehicles, especially Chevys (grandson of the Chevette), but when I ask the drivers why they tell me it is just for attention, but I do point out they will get some gain since it is a direct flow exhaust.

haha. sorry didnt mean for it to be an insult. Cause I have been looking for an exhaust set up as well. And for luxury cars since they are "luxury" cars i dont want it to sound like a civic or like you just throw on an exhaust. Like goto a muffler shop buy one off the wall and put it on your car. Even though I did this before I didnt like it at all so i had it removed. I dont mean to insult anything. I expect luxury cars to sound unique. Like the FX. Its exhaust sounds unique. Even though as we know sound is also based on the engine. Didnt mean any harm guys. Expecially to the civic drivers.
