"Thunk" when stopping
1999 RX 300 2X. Get a solid "thunk" intermittantly when slowing to a stop. Has anyone actually experienced this? In the day it would have been bad universal on a RWD. What's the fix & how do I reach Ganz? Thanks

So many reasons to hear and feel thunk. Need to narrow it down.
Have your suspension looked at. Check engine and transmission mounts.
Last time when it happened to me, it was kids basket ball in the rear hatch area.

salim Thanks. You were right. I found a basket ball wedged between the rear bumper and the lift gate. Releived it wasn't one of those infamous $5K trannies.
