Hi all, just got an '01 RX AWD and so far I'm loving it. I have a few things to fix, some of them seem to be common problems and I was able to find them on the search, others I wasn't. Here is one I couldn't find. Hope you guys can help:
The rear wiper does not work well. When it works, it works continuously, even on the intermittent option. When I turn it off, the wiper arms just stops wherever it was. Other times, when i turn it on, it just doesn't move. I don't think it's the motor, but some sort of sensor or "actuator"? Any ideas what this might be.
TIA

It seems like that it is the motor ...
Wiper motor has a contact (like a parallel switch) which only shuts of the dc power when the arm is reaches the rest position [unless you turn the ignition key of].
