is it possible to have my 99 lexus rx300's manual truck open and close at the push of a button? i can't find any information online about it. is it possible? if so, any sites that you could send? approx. cost for parts + labor?

can you change a current moon roof (the one in the rx300's) to a panaromic moonroof? the only place i've seen something on this is webasto

Well, almost anything is possible but I don't think it would be a practical modification. I don't think they reserved any under-panel space for the necessary power lifting equipment. But, if you're willing to have the lift equipment reduce rear space/visability I suppose you could find some handicaped-oriented equipment that would do the job. On second thought, I could be very wrong about this because the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) is very big on such power accessories and there may be such a product available in Japan.

That's an interesting site. It looks like you need to find a local webasto dealer to give you an estimate. Keep in mind that it may be more difficult to sell your RX after such a mod (i.e., others may feel it detracts from the value).

why would a panoramic roof detract from the value? don't people like those? i know i do! i decided i dont care about an electronic push button trunk. I thought about it, and ive probably only opened it about 5 times in 6 months...i always put things in the backseat, not the trunk. however, i do still like the concept of a panoramic roof. you think it's possible? would it look trashy? on their website they looked nice

It's possible, but costly. Looks nice but I think it will affect the cars rigidity. It will definately lower the cars value though.

haha...u think the car feels loose with the steering now...wait til the body panels flex...haha your car is going to slither like a snake!

I guess it would b a cool mod if you were going offroading...but I wouldn't put rims and a panoramic roof..unless u really just can't get any right now...haha

hahaha...one thing you'll notice as your read my forums is that often times i get on 2 day trips about things i love. after that, i usually don't care. im over the panoramic roof, which could be because after research i found it's impossible. aftermarket it's 32" wide...OEM is 36" wide. steering sensitivity is that big of a deal for me, but i drove a car with really tight steering and it seemed to make it more fun and felt better. i just overall liked the steering.
