The outer edges of the driver and passenger seat covers (bottom) are creasing and wearing to the point that I think they might start cracking/tearing soon. I had planned to swap them over as the inner edges are basically new. However, the local upholster shop says they are not the same and this cannot be done. I realize the seatback covers cannot be switched because of the armrest hole (although I'm sure there's something could be done about that) but the seat bottoms look identical.

Anybody know if the shop was correct?
