Which Battery for my RX300?

Over in Viper world everyone was using Optima's since an acid leak means you are repainting the whole back of the car. But times have changed.
Optima sold out to Johnson Controls a few years ago. I guess quality control has gone down hill with the switch.
A older one (pre Johnson Controls) will last forever.
For the record I put a Walmart battery in my RX a year ago and it fit fine and has been bullet proof so far.
