Default "D" Light on Dash burned out? or warning sign?

My RX300 'D 'light is out (no longer function on the dash). All the other indicators work except the 'D' indicator. Is this a burned out led/bulb? Or is it a warning indicatior of something in the Transmission? Any help is appreciated

This is something common in RX300s. Mine burned out many years ago, even after Lexus replaced it at no charge.

Talking

As I read your post I was smiling. Mine burned out a few years ago. The car is almost 9 years old and still is quiet and running fine. I'm curious if the D light will burn out on the RX400h I have now. Do you think Lexus has put in longer lasting bulbs?

Well, you just have to ask youself, do you start up the car and Drive or just put it in Park? Since 99% of the time you put in D mode and drive it,so the D light will burn out first. The next light that will burn out is the brake light if you do a lot of stop N go traffic.

One bulb that will never burn out or you may not notice it is the " low washer fluid light"..lol..

I am also in the process of finding this bulb. For now I replaced the "D" bulb with "L" one.
Nobody knows what part number it is. The part number specified in the other thread (83119-246710) does not exist.
I think the right one is 83101-20080 or 83109-30070

Here is more info:
83101-20080 EL44;12V 1.4W,W/SOCKET - $6.13
83109-24020 EL44;12V 3.4W W/GREEN CAP - $3.99
83109-30070 EL44;14V 2.0W,LONG LIFE - $2.27
83119-32010 EL44;14V 3.0W - $1.31
90981-11018 EL44..CND;12V 1.4W - $1.61

This is how the "D" bulb looks like:
