Baby, you have such a beautiful eyes. I want to touch them. They are water-soft. I know. I could push them in.

Sleeper. What kind of mods do you have hidden under the hood?

after 2 maf sensors installations, im still popping code p0171 (lean), so all my mods dont do anything.

put back my stock air box, but a hose still gives me cold air from the front bumper opening.

underdog crankshaft pulley

cat sensor back 2.5" magnaflow muffler and piping

ground wire kit

i really hate that CEL!

I wonder if you have a crack, even small one or some sway/expansion/contraction in the joint areas on your exhaust that could be allowing in some extra air by the A/F sensors, causing a lean.

It is hard to get to the rear area, right around the front manfiold there is a joint here and you can feel hot air blow on your hand.

What does an exhaust manifold have to do with eyelids?

hahaha! since the eyelids gives me an extra 5+ hp, its useless if the p0171 lean CEL still pop up. so to fix this problem i need check if i have an exhaust manifold leak.

edit:
i checked the areas around the sensors and no hot air was coming out. however there was hot air coming out of the (radiator side) precat's crack, which was welded to stop the rattling. i think this location is bank 2, but the p0171 is lean bank 1.
is there ever a CEL p0171 lean back 2? it seems like everyone is getting the bank 1 lean.

P0171 is bank one (close to firewall) lean. Have you replaced your knock sensors? They won't give a CEL until both of them go bad. You can check the resistance from harness of ECM. I replaced them (also replaced all sparkplugs and coolant bypass pipe under lower manifold) on my own. It took ~10 hours.
