Power window failed
The power window on My 2001 RX300 passenger side did not work in the past few month. The window went the wrong direction at about 50% of the time. I mean the window went down when I asked it to go up and went up when I asked it to go down.
I changed out the battery last week. Now about 95% of the time it just does not have response. When I pull and push the button, nothing happens. Even when it responds, it goes the wrong direction at about half chance.
Both master button from driver side and the window button from passenger side behaved exactly the same. I can hear a 'click' in the door of the passenger side when the button is pulled/pushed. All other three windows work fine.
I doubt the door computer does not work well. Any idea on what's going on? And how much it costs to get it work again?
Appreciate your help.

I had a similar problem (window won't go up but goes down when you press up). If this matches your case, you may need to lubricate the window guide rails with silicone grease.
In my problem the rubber in the guide rails hardened and caused too much resistance and tripped the overload protection on the window causing it go down instead of up. You can squirt armor all to lubricate the rubber but this is only temporary as it will gunk up with dirt over time.

Also, if you want to do this yourself, there is a DIY that LexMex so graciously provided for us to see exactly how to get the door panel off. (not sure if you need to take it off as i have never done it, but i am assuming u do.)
Search for it, if i have time i will link it for u

Great link, great DIY! Thanks Lexmex. Do you have one for the 330?

Thank you for your great advice and link. I don't mind to do it myself to save me $$$. ;-) The point is that what's the real problem with the window and how difficult to fix it. Should I replace the guide rail or the rubber or both? Or simply give the some oil? I would like to get a service book first to see if I can fix it myself.
