Default HID retrofit complete

about 6 months ago i had a custom retrofit done (not done by me). i have a 99 rx300 awd and i changed the stock halogen reflection headlights to a 2005 lexus ls series wide beam projector headlight. i had a custom shroud made, and used the oem 05 ls ballasts. i think i also used 2 4100 or 4200k phillips xenon bulbs. to be honest they're incredibly! super bright and extremely wide. i never got around to making a forum of this, or posting pictures. i wanted to know if anyone would be interested in seeing pics of it. if not, im not going to waste any time posting pics for something noone cares to see!!

I like it a lot. My friend has an IS300 with projectors and halos, so hott. The projectors make the RX look somewhat more aggressive to me. I love the look. Props!

Nice. I see you are also using an Exide battery, also a great choice.

thanks! yea i love it...i think it definitely makes it look better. i was trying to take pictures of it shining down the road because it goes soo far and its the lexus ls wide-beam projector, but my camera kept auto-dimming it for some reason and it made it look dull

nice dude! I've been having such bad luck trying to fit these DS4s onto the shroud. trying to figure out how to have the projector more stable. it tends to shake a lot when we tried it. then again my ride is bumpier from the springs thank god it's my old headlights though.

Let me repost jg 368 48's post, so we don't have to click on individual picture in order to admire it:

thanks for the props
LiqrSicc...not sure what to do about the shaking...mine dont shake at all...the only thing that's somewhat close is when i turn and stuff because the rx300 has sucha pitiful suspension/springs/sway bar (dont know which is correct) it dips like crazy, so the headlights dip (obviously) along with it which makes one side a lot higher than the other (not too big a deal) until the car isn't turned as much...only problem is the people on the higher side of the headlights (such as going the opposite direction as me) are blinded like crazy. oh well

thanks for putting the pics like that! i didnt even think to do it that way!
