Hello,
I read in an older thread that there is a TSB:
BR003-00 OCT 00 Brakes - Clicking Noise Upon Application
Since new, our 2k rx300 would have a click or clack noise at first application of the brakes when moving forward immediately after having been in reverse. THere is no squealing and the pads are still like new (the car has <45km currently).
What prompted e to look further into this is that recently the clicking noice has become noticably more pronounced.
What does the TSB recommend as a fix? Since my car is now out of warranty, I'd like to avoid unnecessary costly work -- Is this work necessary? Or the noise is inconsequential performance/safety wise and therefore can be ignored?
Thanks.
