I don't doubt what you say Vic, but the GX can't compete with the MDX on one simple point: price. Most stuff I've read has the GX470 coming in close to 50K (Lexus always charges a premium for the 4.7 litre engine), and even with MDXs going for MSRP, that makes a fully loaded MDX with Nav $39k and change.

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have a Lexus product over an Acura product anyday. But I'm just trying to be realistic about the market and the price points.
