I love what you did on your tail light. I've been wanting to buy that same tail light in clear chrome, but I'm having second thought on how it will look like on my RX. Now that I saw some actual pictures, I'm inspired to changed mine too.

Is that a custom repaint? Looks kind of purple. Do you have a shot without flash, or is this natural color? I would say for something lighter, go with the clear lense (although I don't like it) to go with the lighter color.

nope its not custom...its the twilight blue pearl paint, from what i've read, that was only offered as long as the venetian red paint. its pretty much the natural color...ill try to take some during the day. in the sun, it looks kinda purple, but when its not, it has a bluish look to it.

I never saw the Twilight Pearl before, just thought it was custom. Nothing wrong with purple, I had a '95 Civic in Horizon Grey that was "purple" and drove that sucker to 220K and sold it for $1K still.

I took my light and did a quick PAINT on it, excuse the cheap quality, but you get idea. The light angle might not be perfect either, but I think the red looks good on your car.

for that blue RX definately go with red and clear, i would only get red/smoke on a car with a paint color consisting of a shade of black, or grey. At least thats what they look the best in, also the contrast doesnt look too bad on white
but red white gets my vote for yours.
It is AMAZING how much newer it makes the RX look.

Like I said before, the ones I got, they were plug-and-play, no need for any load resistors and worked fine. No blown light indicator.
These lights definitely give the 99 a "refreshed" look.

Does anyone know what the difference is between the set that fits '99-'00 vs. '01-'03. I found someone locally that has a set for '01-'03, but I have a 2000 RX300. The price is too good to pass up.
