Does anyone know what the difference is between the set that fits '99-'00 vs. '01-'03. I found someone locally that has a set for '01-'03, but I have a 2000 RX300. The price is too good to pass up.
I wrote back to you with what I have, but looking at the two model year groups, the configurations of the turn signals, back up lights, etc. are basically the same, so connection wise you shouldn't have an issue. With that said, I would think that the behind the scenes position of bolts and some wiring locations, might prevent the two from being interchangeable, otherwise these aftermarket guys would have just listed '99-'03.
If this guy is local and you're actually picking it up, go and see if you can test them first and see if they fit. The removal and installation is literally ten minutes tops for one side. Two nuts hold each one in. The inner ones require you remove the interior panel, but that's just held with snap pins.
