With the Castrol 0W30 green oil, feels a little smoother than the gold version of the fluid. Engine starts up a little quieter. I don't notice much on the track, but these are much warmer and wetter months.
Both of these are fluids I strongly recommend if you can get your hands on them.

I have had a few other threads of mine run on some pages before.

cool i hope i can get some...maybe from a website or something.
yes we've definitely talked a lot of these pages!

I may end up getting something from the U.S., if I don't see something I like here.
Below is something close, an APC 156019.

I may not stop there.
In the picture below is a very interesting array of resonators that I have shown before.
From left to right: a glasspack (I used one of these for one day and it was incredibly loud), Sankei Resonator from a Honda Accord (I used this one for a few years and not too bad), a Flowmaster resonator previously used on a Seat Leon and finally a Hangar-1 custom resonator (this is the exhaust shop where this one was taken and this last resonator is my current one).
I may actually move to the Flowmaster resonator shortly after I move to the muffler I described in my last post.

Think of it like a pre-muffler. If you look underneath the middle of your RX300, you will see a long muffler-like tube...that is the resonator. Resonators are usually longer (though not always as shown with the Flowmaster above) than the muffler at the end of the exhaust system and like the muffler are used to cancel out sound waves. Generally, resonators are fabricated to reduce what I like to term raspiness (thinking of for lack of a better series of words...a short set of farts, or sometimes popping noises).

I did check with Hangar 1 on even the Flowmaster resonator they used to have and they didn't have it anymore. They are almost exclusively APC and Magnaflow now.
Thing with ordering from the states is that if you ship it, Mexican Customs is very arbitrary in what they charge on tax, regardless of having a receipt or declared value. I would prefer to get everything bought down here and buy locally-made clones of what I need. I plan to take another look on Saturday afternoon.
If I go home to Florida this year, I definitely need to modify the exhaust as it would probably cause a wrath of "imperial tie fighters" to descend on me otherwise.

I'll keep you up-to-date when I find what I am looking for.
I wanted to ask if you are considering other modifications for your RX300 besides the exhaust/intake.
#133
ok
other than modifications to my exhaust and a cold air intake the only other thing i might do is a light-weight crankshift pully and a tom's radiator cap. im not sure of anything else that can be done for what im trying to accomplish, but feel free to make suggestions!

What about exterior and interior modifications?
#135
yea i guess maybe should rethink some of those things then!
as for interior/exterior mods i don't really have anything...my dad won't let me do anything to the interior to make it appear to be aftermarket except for add a sub (but that's only because it can easily taken out). things like TV's and such aren't allowed. as the exterior i thought a grill replacement + chrome handles + some other things but i voted against it. so basically there's not many other mods that i can really do! i think ill have the intake installed and then start talking about where to go from there!
what about u?
