OK . . I got the "lay of the land" with the front and rear turn signals planned out. The front area is much easier to get to and plenty of room for the resistors up there. Are you satisfied with the brightness of the turn signal during the day? I'm in Everett WA area so I don't plan on the sun for another 9 months !!

Yes, on a clear bright sunny day, the turn signal spread is pretty bleek. Pretty much you see the LED flicker, but not much light dispersion. At night though, it's much better and I would say 80% effectiveness of the incandescants.
The tail lights are built in LED, so it's all over, but I would imagine a single LED "bulb" in a housing would be weak for sure.

Reconsidering . . . . .......
OK . . thanks for the honest reply to the brightness issue. Do you have the resisters installed to allow for full illumination instead of a quick flash? I'm gonna have to reconsider the adventure as I don't want to become invisible on the road though about 1/2 of my driving is at night.

LED's unlike incandescant are instant on/off, so even with the quick flicker, it's fully illuminated. In terms of light strength, at night, I'd say it's fully visible so shouldn't be any real issue. The flickering would just be personal preference, more than anything.

OK, installing the turn sig lights acquired from superillumination and it's really not so bad. I'm about 1/2 done. Back are a little bit darker than the bulb but more than sufficient during day time ops. Also, the front look much better cuz it has a yellow LED so the whole config looks much more yellow than was prior. Yes the resisters do get HOT !! I took some video but don't know if I can include on this blog or not. Will try when I get the fronts finished so can show the comparison. (8D
