Hey guys, I have a 2001 RX300...about 114,000 miles now. I don't use the windows too much besides an occasional hot day where I have to open them all down to air out the hot air. Recently I noticed that when I roll my passenger and driver windows up they both go up extremely slower than before and right when they are almost all the way up they start chopping. Then if you look at the window right after the chopping you notice a lot of marks on the window as if it has been bouncing off the bottom part of the window (talking about the area where you would apply moleskin to if you tint your windows). Does anyone know a solution? My windows are usually kept pretty clean. Do I have to lubricate a certain part of my window motor?

You need to clean and lubricate your window channels. As those rubber gaskets age they begin to harden, causing the glass to bind in its travel. Open the window and spray a product like Armorall into the channels - and allow 20 minutes to dry before wiping out the excess with a shop or paper towel. Clean and Rain-X the glass, allowing a bit of the product to seep back into the window channel area on the glass to smooth it.
As time goes on you will have to do this a bit more often as those old seals suffer from the effects of ultraviolet light and ozone in the atmosphere that will make them very hard if not maintained regularly. If you do it when you Rain-X your windows quarterly, you should not have any further problems.

There has been some discussion in the past about lubrication of the tracks.
I'd try opening the windows and spraying the tracks from a can of 100% Silicone Spray. That's a simple first step and may well solve the problem.
