I know this is probably a dumb question, but I can't figure out how to pull out or lift up the second row seats to clean under them. I have 3 kids and there is an entire toy store + cereal isle under there.

99 RX300 with reclining rear seats? You should be able to get a shop vac hose under there and just suck it all out!

 

I have an 00 with the sliding back seats...i can get a vacuum underneath. Had to do this when my neon tube cracked underneath the seats. (motherfr, man was i pissed)

 

My dog barfed a stomach full of salmon, directly down the seatbelt hole.

I knew I had to do a exceptional clean up job. I removed the larger of the two back seats entirely. It wasn't too difficult.

You'll need a screwdriver to remove the screws holding the fabric sleeve to the back deck, and a ratchet wrench with a deep socket to remove the seat. It'll take about a 1/2 hour to remove the seat, and about 20 minutes to re-install it.

If you don't remove the seat, you won't be able to get to every spot. In my case, I had no choice...I had to remove every bit of spilled material on the floor AND on the underside of the seat, or risk permanent stink.
