Hey all,
Just wondering if a 04/05 set of rims be a swap out for a 2000 RX300 ? Any idea ? Does it make a difference if the old tires were 16" and the new ones that we are looking at is 17" or 18" ?
It's for my wife's car...

I thought that I had read on another post that the 5 stud wheels for all lexus (besides the current LS460) all shared the same pattern (separation) so they will all fit each on each. Of course, you'll need to get the correct tires to match the diameter and width of your vehicles stock tire. The 18" of the RX330/350 would look real nice on a RX300.
Good luck with your mod.

Are you sure or can provide me with a link ? I really don't want to have to spend a good chunk of $$ on rims and tires to find out they don't fit. The "thought you read" makes me wonder. Just need to be sure.
I do think they will look awsome as well.
Anyone else confirm ?
Thanks for your help

Yes they fit, but "may" need spacers. Not sure why some would need them and others not.

i remember going to the dealership once when i knew someone who worked there. and i asked them if the RX330 rims fit on the RX300. and he said, "Yes, they do fit." and i asked about the clearance on it and if anything needs to be modified. they said, "Yes, it will clear and nothing needs to be modified." I am about to put those rims on my car too in hypersilver.

As long as you keep the recommended tire size for that rim: 235/55-18 and you don't slam your RX, you shouldn't have any issues at all and won't need to do any mods.
Trust me I know.

Hey are those the original head lamp assemblies or replacements? they look great and I am afraid my 99 RX lamps are getting very old and even after cleaning only look good for a short while.

Also remember that on the 01's on up RX's you got that special green tint or glaze ala the LS headlamps that made them sparkle much better than the 99-00 RX's light assemblies.
Here's a link for the product:http://www.meguiars.com/estore/product_list.cfm?sectionname=Consumer%20(Meguiar's%20Brand)>Clear%20Plastic%20Care§ionID=15101

I am not sure who is the champion on the max rims, but on the tire width I am pretty sure 235 on the width without spacers. Now some people I have heard of going 245 with no rubbing, but that wasn't been the case for someone I know who did that.
