Default Touch-up paint recommendation

Hey guys, has anyone found a good touch-up paint that actually matches the lower cladding on the Rx300.

I bought one of those AutoVisuals Auto Sharp Pens, but aside from have very little paint in it (just ran out) it didn't match, the silver was too dark.

Is factory the best to use or maybe Paintscratch.com or should I just have it all repainted by a body shop?

I got the undercladding touchup paint OEM from Lexus and even that is not perfect. With sun oxidation, touchup paint reflection, etc. it just doesn't look "right." How much do you have to cover? If you only have minor scratches, I'd say go original ($12) since aftermarket is fairly close in price ($8) and who knows how it will match. If you're talking major scratches, you'd have to repaint the bumper to get even close to a clean look.

Good luck.

I've gotten a good match with the OEM touchup paint sticks. I usually use a microbrush to transfer the paint from the big brush in the OEM touchup paint thing to the small spots on the car. I agree, big spots need a professional respray to look good.

The OEM paint is going to be the best match. The trouble is it's always WAY too thick. The trick is to put a little paint on as possble - several wafer thin coats rather than 1 big blob!
