Default in-line transmission filter?

I have an 02 AWD Rx300. Has anyone put an inline transmission filter under the hood? worth the effort?

I remember there is at least one person on this forum who has installed one, but can't remember who it is for the moment. It has definitely been discussed, though I don't remember a thread with a specific title on the subject.

Yes, I have this one:

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...part=prm-10678
uses basically a PH8 size filter and Has caused zero problems so far (48K miles). I located it one the left frame below the battery, accessable by removing the front air skid pan. I fabricated a vertical bracket to make it fit the frame. Adds about 3/4of a quart additional fluid to the system.

I have some news actually about the transmission filter that is in our tranny pans after an experiment I have run. Will post this afternoon about my findings.

I would like to install a magnafine inline filter as well. Would you advise the correct size for the connection. Mine is 2000 RX300 AWD. Thank you.
