brake light out - how to get to it?
My brake lights are going out one by one (indicator is on) - but I can't seem to find how to get to the light housing to replace the bulb. Any suggestions?
Thanks
(this forum was great in identifying what bulb type I need - I just need to figure out how to take it apart without 'braking' anything).

No ... it's the rear lower tail light housing. I can't see where the screws are located or what to 'pry' off (without breaking something).
Thanks for any help!

As I recall, there are two screws on the inboard side (under the hatch door frame). They may be hidden under plastic plugs. When those are removed, you just pull it out. There are a couple of pop things that hold it in, so it takes some force to pull out, but it will come.

Lift the tail hatch and near the inside edge, you will see two round screw head covers with a small slot to pop them up. They hide the screws you need to undo the tail lamp assembly. Remember to swing the assembly outwards as the bayonet plastic clips are on the outer-edge. For re-assembly engage the outer edge and swing the assembly inwards. Note: make sure you do not pinch any wires.
