What is the best MPG you ever recorded?
Within the past week or so, I was able to get my MPG just ticking into the 18 range for the first time in memory at my elevation, whereas before it was in the 15 to 16 range. I can't remember what my best sea level MPG or highway ever was, but of course it must have been between 20 and 25. One of my next hurdles will be in trying to find ways to improve the MPG in our vehicles.
So I am curious to know what everyone's best MPG they ever had was.

Well, AutoZone will check the code for you for free on those check engine lights and if I know the code, then I can tell you the possibilities and what is possibly wrong.

24 mpg. Hwy driving at 60-65mph, no faster. No traffic and only very slightly hilly. If I could find a perfectly flat , long road I know I could crack 25. Usually though I get about 22-23 on the hwy because herer in SoCal 70 is the minimum you can drive and thats in the slow lane!

Here's mine - 23 mpg life average over 110K miles. My commute is from 24-28 mpg. The average is lower because my RX was driven in NYC for about a year, where I only got 17 mpg.

I am going to go ahead in January and change out the fuel filter down here (I know everyone has been wanting to do that) and see its effect on the MPG, as my fuel filter must be a towering garbage dump by now.
