A minivan with "L" logo on both the front and back ends pulled up near me to unload at a local shop in Hong Kong. This minivan is slightly modified with body kit, rear spoiler, smoked tail lights, black rims and chrome exhaust.

They also sell that down here in Mexico. It is rapidly becoming the vehicle of choice here in Mexico City for the small bus services that are here (that used to use the VW Van).

I bet you they just put in Lexus emblems in them. Lexus is only released in the US, right? Or are they being imported to Japan now?

Lexus is there in Japan, but it is quite a popular thing to remove the Toyota emblems and replace them with those of Lexus. I even have a friend in El Salvador with a Toyota Hilux (with a turbo modification) who added a Lexus badge to the front

 

I am with you. Hong Kong is a city with high rises but roads are mostly pavement with even surfaces. I even saw a Nissan Skyline (with Hong Kong Skyline club sticker) rumbled by at Causeway Bay.

It would be funny to 'import" them to Japan, perhaps Ironic. I know Lexus has been in the UK for a while so I'm sure they'd be elsewhere too.

I rode around for two days in Australia in a M-Benz minivan, the likes of which I'd never seen anywhere else so I'd say its definitely possible.

 

Ugh, hope that mailbox on wheels doesn't make it to U.S. soil. It would kill Lexus as we know it...
