Default Hid?

Hi. What is the best Kelvin Temp for HID convertion? 4300k, 6000k or 8000k?

for maximum brightness, i'd stay below 6000k. they get dimmer as teh color temp goes up.

I run 6000K on my aftermarket HID kit. I love it, it's somewhat blue but gives plennty illumination. But if you drive in areas where there's barely any lighting at night, or lighting plays a crucial role in your driving, then I suggest 4300K HID's. But then again, HID kits seem to vary with brand. I have a generic brand (eBay kit, I got lucky that these lasted 1.5 years so far) and my friend has this brand name kit (forgot the name); we both have 6000K kits but the coloring/brightness looks different.

my 6000k HIDs hurts my eyes sometimes. i kinda wish i got 4300k or 5000k.
