Car shakes when braking while turning left
Hello All,
I own a '99 RX300. I'm having a problem with my braking.... When I brake while turning to the left, it feels like my brakes are slipping, and the front brakes make a clanging noise.... When this happens my brake pedal also pulsates/ shakes when I brake while turning to the left. When I brake while driving straight, there is no shaking whatsoever. Same goes for when I brake while turning right, it's perfect... After this problem started occuring, I put brand new brakes and rotors on all 4 tires. This did nothing to solve the problem.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

Not sure what would make a clanging noise other than the splash shield bent into the rotor.
As far as the braking issue goes I would start with cleaning the ABS sensors.

Hey, thanks a million. Is that something that is hard to clean? I'm assuming that I have to take my tire off and the sensor is located behind the rotor? I just unscrew it, clean off the sensor and screw it back on?

I had something similar happen to me on an old BMW. Every time I made a left it would make a loud grinding noise. It turned out to be bad wheel bearings and wheel hub. The brakes were ok though so my situation might be different.
