What is a resasonable mileage for an RX300
I'm considering buying a 2001 RX300 with 150K (mostly highway) miles on it. Is this crazy? What mileage do people out there have on their RX's.
Thanks

Lexus base warranty is 60k miles. Beyond this milage one should expect things to start breaking. Starting 75K and certainly by 100k you are in bonus zone. 150k miles is way up there.
With proper maintenance and upkeep one can get to 200K and even 300k.
Also keep in mind, Lexus repair cost will be a notch below European Luxury car repair bills. You may be able to shave off the labor charges by going to places other than the dealer, but for parts you are stuck.
All I am saying is, have reasonable expectations. You are buying something, that is already twice the milage over, what the manufacturer is willing to stand behind.
