Default No heated seats???

Hi guys, the heated seats went out in my 00 RX300. The light comes on when the button is depressed and the fuse is ok. Both front seats do not work. HELP!

Thanks,
Joe

Sure sounds like the problem with the driver's seat in our '99. Are you sure they both went out at the same time? I had the dealer check mine. The seatback and bottom cushion heaters need to be replaced, and I'm just waiting to talk myself into spending the money. The cheapest I have found are $220.61 for the seatback heater (part # 87510-48020) and $306.38 for the bottom cushion heater (# 87510-48011) from mylexusparts.com. Same part numbers for right and left. I was advised against salvage parts due to the likelihood of failure since the salvaged seats are well-used already. One of the threads in this forum gave directions for checking the seat heater circuits. You'll find a lot of helpful information here, and the members are always willing to share ideas. Good luck, and let me know if you find a better/cheaper source for seat heaters . . . .
