Default Brake Pad Thickness Measurement
Per the Lexus repair manual... the standard brake pad thickness specs for the brakes are:

0.413 in (10.5 mm) for the front and 0.394 (10 mm) for the rear. Does anyone know if this measurement includes the pad backing plate? Or is strictly the wearable pad itself?

That has got to be material thickness without backing.....bloody bad value for money if not!

Also agree, that backing plate is very thin.
