Default 2000 FWD RX300 transmission interchangeable?

after reading in a couple of places it seems like the 02-03 camry's , 01-03 highlander's and some 99-01 ES300's share the same transmissions but can't seem to confirm i even went to toyota dealer and as expected the couldn't or didn't want to tell me so if anyone can help me out here please

as far as i know the fwd uses the u140e and the awd uses he u140f

You need to use the U140E.

Did your tranny fail?

Thanks a lot!

Have anyone here actually replaced one from any of those 3 option donors?

FYI Lexmex the Lexus page is not completely accurate. Right off the bat I noticed that it groups 1990-1997 LS400's together, which is wrong. 1990-1994 used the A341E, but 1995-1997 used the A340E. I just thought I'd mention it since there may be other discrepancies as well.

Fair enough.

I am confident on the U140E and U140F as mentioned.

I have lately seen a bunch of errors on the net including the reference to some OBD2 sensor codes for A/F sensors showing a completely different bank.
