Well, I bit the bullet and sent away for about $540 worth of upper and lower front seat heaters for the driver's seat. I'm ready to tackle this myself if the weather warms up around here. If I'm successful, I'll try to post hints for anyone else who tries this. It was going to be about $1400 to have the dealer do it (including parts at retail).

I searched the forum for help, but I don't see any threads about this. I have hog rings and hog ring pliers. I have the service manual pages, and hopefully those will be enough. Has anyone done this yet?
