Well, I have seen those in many cars. Pontiacs, Taurus, Focus, I mean, it's something that I just wouldn't put on a Lexus. They just don't look good without supporting mods like chrome molding and enhanced aerodynamics. Just my .02c...

I don't think you should put those on a RX300. I see those stick on vents on some Yukon's and Tahoe's. It looks ok on those fullsize SUV's, but I agree with the previous opinion it won't look right without some type of chrome package(door handles, mirrors..etc) for the rest of the car.

what about if u had chrome handles and trunk lip? i saw those on eBay last night too

Not sure if you're asking me door handles and such, but the reason I think it works for the higher end Tahoe's and Yukon's is because the side moldings have a chrome trim on it as well as the chrome handles. The running(step) boards also has a chrome trim on it as well as the rear bumper step molding, exhaust tips..etc.

Also, and the biggest bling are the wheels. The Tahoe/Yukon's I see have lots of big shiney wheels that take the focus away from the side vents.

I guess if you put all those things in on the Rx300 in understated fashion it wouldn't look bad. I personally wouldn't though as I like the look of the RX as it is.
