How to tell if you missed your RX
I took a 2000 mile round trip over the spring vacation and rented a brand new (almost 800miles on the odo) Toyota Previa mini-van. Mostly long flat runs, but included a fairly sharp drive up a mountain ... enough to make people sick in the back of the van.
I found the van a competent vehicle, and at times it seems it pulled better than the RX. [I am digressing as this not a comparo between the latest Previa and 9yr old RX].
Yesterday, I returned the van and switched back to my RX. What a difference! Some times we take things for granted and fail to appreciate the overall pleasure our daily rides provide us.

ha ha. I felt the same way when we rented a Dodge Caravan for a trip last year to D.C.. From the moment I stepped in, the moment we returned it, was complaining about the interior, lack of power, bad materials, but we did like the abundance of room in the back, even with three rows up.
Then when we got in our RX for the ride home, we were like "wow, this is quiet. drives well, material is great... we love it." That's how you know you still have a very nice vehicle, when it holds up to most vehicles that are new today.
