I posted a while back, that when I went from the paper filter (witch was in it when I bought it) to the mesh type filter,my shifting improved.I have 85,000 miles now,and quite frankly,I`m already getting quotes on rebuilds.Because I know my time can be any time now.

I noticed my shifts were better when I tried it without the filter, so the better flow of the mesh filter may definitely play the role there.

Interesting, I had changed the stupid mesh filter three times before my tranny failure. (man all it needed was to be cleaned) I found my receipts today for the three, part number is 35330-06010. I need to drop my pan and see what my last one is, change back to the mesh one and rely on my external filter for doing the job. I would sure like to switch fluids also.
