I have searched high & low for a front license plate bracket rx300 2003. Lexus wants $75. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I might find a used or less expensive new one? I have tried ebay & many other on line places but they never seem to have this year for the rx300. Please help. Thx

I would think the brackets would be the same for all the RX300's; certainly for the 2001-2003 models. My mother has a 2002 ES300 and lives in a non-front-license-plate state. There was a bracket in the trunk when she got the car new.

Thanks for your info, I have tried to order others but they have told me they do not have the v shape on the back of the bracket, the others are flat & I need for it to have a v shape on the back of the bracket as the bumper comes to a point and not even across.

i have same problem the one i bought has no front braket go to walmart or pepboys or your local auto store ask for a universal licence plate braket, i bought one and the thing that sucks is you have to screw in new holes in your bumper to fit the the braket but it comes in the kit about 5 dollors or so, i was thinking double stick or velcro to avoid new screws on front but it might be a bad idea but might do tomorrow with screws

mine had a bracket with bmw dealer name since i bought used from them. However it is not in the vshape and line up for 03 bumper (pointed in center). However when i was changing the plates I screwed up. I didn't realize that the screw is a plastic one and it broke as the bolt was tighter. It broke just a little above the bumper (can see 2 threads above the bumper) but not enough to hold the plate and bracket and then run bolt. So I had to fix(screw) the bolt to those 2-3 threads and to the outer end of this bolt screwed the broken threaded screw stem (bolt is like a joint to the 2 broken parts of the screw). Now I need to close that with another bolt.
To get a new screw/bolt combo and put it, i think you have to remove the bumper etc..Any know how much work it is or is it worth doing it?
Want to know anyone have any suggestions for my situation.. I know pictures would have helped.. but trying to see if someone can understand what i described...thx..

I think some one mentioned that if your state requires a front and rear license plate,if you go to your dealer they should give you one free of charge. Now,if you are just trying to get one,you will have to pay for it.
