Run it some more to check the MPG. Might take a few weeks of driving to evaluate the impact.

ok i will wait a couple of weeks to see mpg improvement... also lex is it possible for cel light to come on after changed af sensors because the cpu is trying to recognize new airflow and etc? thanks because mine went on and i was thinking maybe cpu needed time to adjust to new changes or something? lex also after reseting efi and cpu is it best to just drive normal and not kepp pushing alot of throttle as you mentioned the cpu relearns your driving habits and this is what determines the final mpg you get as to what cpu learns driving habits thanks lex..

Yes, cel can come on. Just keep driving around for at least 100 miles. Sometimes improper installation can cause the issue. I generally recommend disconnecting the battery before an A/F install.

Arch, this I mentioned before on here,This disconnecting the battery/pulling ecm fuse stuff is not the best way to clear the computer.I went to a class back in 1995 for OBD-2 diagnostic`s.The only way to properly reset this system is to use a hand held scanner/code reader witch sends the command to the ecm to reset.(just some advice)

Even though it may be small, but the other bad thing about disconnecting the battery is the voltage spike. And computers hate that.

after doing sticky on cleaning throttlebody and iacv and etc, reconnected battery, runs alot better and better but i look at the info screen says average 14.9mpg, the day the af sensors were changed 19mpg on city, as of highway when installed 27-33 (can't remember) in highway as averae, then after cleaning said 14.9mpg-18mpg? do i just have to give it some time to regognise driving style also is after it recognises driving style is that how it will determine fuel consumption by driving normal thanks, also is there any sensors that could be cleaned for maintence? thanks any pics location
