Default "what A Dirty Pcv Valve Looks Like! Pics!

I changed out my pcv valve today just like what lexmex recommended on the sticky, i thought it was going to take long to ake off due to that ufo silver shaped object in the way. but everything went well, i took 3 pics of it so you all can see, for less then 5 dollars i think this is(Another good investment) i was surprised how sticky grimy and dirty it was, i took a pics of actual part number you can buy, also the pics of the left hand side napkin that is debry dirt i wiped off the pcv valve pretty big chunks, the right side is the other napkin after i sprayed contact cleaner for electronics for it that was the sludge oil that came out of the pcv valve, last pics you can see somdebry dirt on the end of pcv valve, car seems more smooth and quiet after changing and better acceleration

Default pcv valve

old pcv valve with residue on tipAfter seeing all this residue and grime you could imagine what lexmex was saying about the sticky on front rx300 page to clean multiple stuff on the throttle body , iacv , and etc i wouldn' t be surprised if it was dirty also after seeing the pcv valve, glad i had the lastic pcv valve instead of the metal screw on

I am new to this. I have a GS400, 1998, where exactly I can find my PCV valve. I appreciate if someone can guide me to it.

You might want to ask in the GS forums, but I dug this up, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=292225
