Clear Coat Restorer?

It doesn't look like clearcoat is gone to me - it's probably just oxidized. An eazy way to try is to put some polishing compound on a white rag and rub a little the damaged places. If your rag is still white, clearcoat is still there and can probably can be polished back to great condition using high-speed polisher (the abovementioned "wheel"). Before going to a detailer I would try the ~$20 orbital buffer/polisher and rubbing/polishing compound.
If your rag gets the color of your body paint, your clearcoat is gone (or your bumper was repainted before) and polishing won't help, you need to paint the clearcoat back.

Another Genie in a bottle.I have worked in the automotive field long enough to know, that if their was a can of miracle,it would cost alot more than 23.00 for one thing.Secondly, all of the recon./detailing shops in the country would be using it.Im not trying to be rude, but trust me on this one.

Alright. I am convinced enough to spend $24 to give it a try. I've got 2 spots on my car where it was spray-painted and there is no clear coat there. It's not as visible as blemishes archangels' rx had, but we'll see.
Oh, and I do have a '93 taurus in the yard to test it on first!!!

Remember that nu-finish in the orange bottle? That was supposed to hold up to 1,000 car washes etc.(yeah right!)I know you can still buy it,but same basic scenario.
