automatic headlight adjustment? please advise?
i read the owners manuel says our rx has automatic headlight adjustment, it didn't really go into details so i was wondering if anyone knew all about them and what they do and etc thanks

Could you quote the section from the owner's manual? I think you are referring to the feature you get with the optional HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlights, which automatically keeps the beam level as the car changes angle, to keep from blinding oncoming cars.

Your right bob, that`s what he has.And it does just as you described.I have them on mine, and i`m praying the sensor`s ,and other related parts for them last untill i sell the vehicle.

one of the ways to tell if you have hid`s,is when you start your vehicle, you will see the headlight`s move up/down.Then settle,it`s pretty cool actually.Another way to tell is the really brilliant blueish/white light they have.

I think its pretty much covered in this thread. Its standard for HIDs, if you have halogens; then you don't have auto level. Like its said by Lexus114, if your vehicle is equipped with it you would be able to see the lights move up and down as soon as you turn your car on. Park ifo a wall and turn your car on.
