You are much more productive than I am. I have a new ring that has been sitting forever waiting to be installed.

Any issues with the half-shaft to differential bolts? With old cars I'm always concerned about snapping old fasteners.

Sounds like you took both sides out? Were there issues clearing the exhaust on the passenger side?

I think it was mostly due to the annoying pulsation.
As for the bolts, heat them with a torch just in case. Better be safe than sorry.

Yes, both sides were pulled. Passenger side just inspected and cleaned (luckily was not broken).
No clearance issues.

If you mean "brake is pulsating when I apply the brakes at low speed" it could be low-speed ABS activation. This can happen even if no fault is reported.
A common cause is cracked or loose ABS reluctor rings. There are plenty of threads on it.
You can readily prove it by disabling the ABS. Different ways to easily disable it are also in the threads.
