Question Why do Japanese Harrier owners love to add 25mm wheel spacers on stock wheels/tires?

Why do Japanese Harrier(RX300) owners love to add 25mm
wheel spacers on stock wheel/tires/suspension?

I looked through a couple dozen Harrier
websites in Japanese. Almost all of them have added wheel
spacers. The owners seem to feel better handling, especially
on highways... However, most of them advised against
a mere 15mm spacer...

Who sells them in the US?

Thanks!

Default spacers

Brings the wheels/tires "out" so they don't look (oddly) recessed into the wheelwell. 2" wider stance certainly would add some stability also.

bringing the wheels out a total of 2inches will not rub againts the fender under full suspension? what about the front tires. will they rub when making a full turn?

Default spacers

My 2001 AWD RX300 has 17X8 Wheels/tires and spacers are at least one inch each side front and rear. I'm considering lowering it with Eibach, 1.2" and don't think it will interfere even then.

More "contact patch" and about 3" wider stance overall.

Default spacers

Shop on the north side of Bel-Red between 124th and 130th, all the way in the back on the left.

Sorry, without looking it up I don't remember otherwise.

Willard,
Is the shop you're referring to "Auto Styles & alignment"?

Mrsypher,
For RMM spacers, which size should I go for? 15mm? 25mm? What do you recommend?

Thanks,
Hendry

Hendry, You got me there.... I don't have spacers on my car. I guess If I were you I would go with the wider ones cuz you want a wider stance. And those spacers for RMM look the best I've seen. Give them a call, I don't think they'll be much money...
