i'm changing the pads on my dad's RX tomorrow and was wondering anyone in here know part number from a toyota that will work on the RX. i have a friend who works at a toyota dealer and can get me the parts for half the price. i compared the part numbers from RockAuto.com and the camry v6 have the same part numbers as the RX300, but just want to make sure.

Lexus and Toyota use the same part numbering system. If you put the RX rear pad # into the Toyota system, it comes up as a rear pad for a 4 cyl. Highlander. If you put the RX front pad # into the Toyota system it comes back as a bad # because that pad is not used on any Toyota model. But there really is no money to be saved trying to source the pads from Toyota. If you want factory pads just order them online for the RX from Irontoad or another oem parts discounter.
