Yes indeed, lucky you have one working master.
You didn't mention if you want to go one of the el cheapo routes or not.
Many of the places that sell master keys include programming instructions.
I'd consider searching eBay, or getting one already cut at one of our Lexus-parts sponsors.

I got one from Sewell a while back, I don't know if you can still use the promo code or not. They are great to deal with.

www.toy-lex.com worked for me, although with a bit of a delay and their (lack of) communication leaves much to be desired.
I did buy a blank key from eBay, only to find out that none of the dealers would cut it around here. From what I understands, there have been cases when people broke key cutting machines with fake chinese blanks.
Bottom line - buy blanks where they can cut them at the same time.
A cut key without the transponder cost me $45 at the dealership, they wanted $140 for the cut key with the transponder (this is with me programming them myself).

Funny you asked, my wife just had the remaining master key plastic break. I checked Lexus and they want $89 per key, but their key cutting machine was broke. I just ordered from these folks and got 2 keys for $97 shipped and cut from my key code, will give feedback this week as they are being shipped today....

Promo code still works "909RK".

A new master shell cut from your VIN is $45.82, shipping is $7.17. So $52.99 for a new OE cut key to your door.

Unfortunately the back side is replaceable (the side with the screw) but the front side with the buttons is molded with the steel shank...so no you cannot replace that side without replacing the key if it is broken...

It is usually the back of the plastic case that breaks. Genunine Lexus replacement backs are available on ebay for about $15. Another option is cover your key with a rubber jacket. They will hold a broken key together and are also a good idea for a key before it breaks to protect it from breaking. Mine came from thejacketstore.com.
