Any one can help? My RX300 2WD 2001 model was diagnosed for a trouble code P1246, which is related to defect of ABS modulator. Lexus dealer quoted $290 for a full replacement. What is OE part number and alternative OE-like part that I may buy? and where can I buy one? And then, how do I get to fix it with a new part? Any assistance is appreciated.

Welcome to the Club.
I am wondering if what they are actually referring to is a speed sensor rather than the ABS actuator, because that part I think is siginificantly more expensive than $250. If it is the case of a speed sensor (an OEM speed sensor at a dealer can run that amount), people in this forum can tell you where they got their sensors.
Lexus should have been clearer with you and actually showed you the part in question rather than giving just a code. The reason I say that is that I can't remember in my years here seeing the big unit fail like that or even this code.

Thank you for advice. I'll ask Lexus dealer for specifics on code P1246.
Another problem is I found the light on "D"-drive failed; it is on dashboard panel that shows drive shift of "P, "R", "N", "D", etc. How could I change the bad bulb inside the panel?
